One word: Zahal.

They stock every Fab Defense thing there is for the 858 and most of it has free shipping. There's also no tax on it. The polymer handguards are also probably the cheapest option for handguards, but Fab also has an aluminum one and there's a Czech made one as well. You can get Canadian made BC Tactical or NEA handguards too.

X2 on Zahal, Wolverine sometimes has a slightly lower price on the odd part but there is tax and shipping on top of that. Nobody else can compete with Zahal's prices, not even close. Add in free shipping on most stuff, cheap shipping on the rest, no tax and excellent customer service with the best selection of Fab Defense gear...why shop anywhere else? They also carry alot of go-fast goodies from other companies but unfortunately the prices on those parts are higher than Canadian stuff. They do offer package deals on stuff for most guns, especially the 858. Check them out w ww.zahal.org

Zahal is bad ass. Although if you really want to embrace the "tacticalification" of an eastern block rifle you might just want to duct tape a flashlight to the handguard and tape the magazines together inverted. Thats how they roll in places that use soviet style rifles :)

there are 2 things I'd like to get from zahal, the ambi safety and ambi mag release - none of which are in stock, and NEA has no stock for a while now. I would never buy the plastic forend though, it just feels so ..... cheap.

Would it kill you guys to buy canadian. Damn, buy canadian. Why buy from the Middle East? Who knows what went on to build the pieces. Child labour? I would buy from BC Tactical or whatever they are called. Made in Canada.

you can't find most the of things for the VZ's in Canada, because they're ALL OUT OF STOCK.

Yeah, because Israel, the only true democratic country in the Middle East, uses child labour. And guess what, I have bought my rail from BC Tactical, and I will be buying other parts from NEA, but they don't make pistol grips or buttstocks so I have to get them from somewhere.

X2, I have NEA upper and lower hand guards and love them.
My rifle came with the NEA upper, but it was hard to find the lower, when I did, I jumped on it right away, even though the timing was bad.
I haven't regretted the purchase, but man you have to be on the ball when a vendor has NEA stuff in stock. There's additional NEA stuff I want, but again no stock, so I'm back in the waiting game.

Zahal, is pretty quick with they're shipping. Like other's have said The Canuck companies don't make pistol grips or buttstocks, so you buy what you like, and whats available, or make your own.
I'd love a Magpul UBR collapsible stock, for my CZ 858 but man they're pricey, I'll probably end up with a folding Zahal (the cheaper one), or I may end up making my own folding buttstock out of aluminum and wood.

Would it kill you to get some accurate information before throwing your morality at others ?
You sound like an anti with that logic .
