I was offered $750 for a 900 ct sealed crate of 8x57

Scarce 70 year old corrosive ammo

$1.50/round for 70 year old corrosive ammo, I guess i must be getting really , really old.No way would i pay that.$102 for 75rds of this old corrosive ammo. You can order today 50pieces 8mm Prvi brass $62, 50rds 198gr or 196SP for$28, 100 LR primers $9.00 and some powder and away you go, 50rds, reloadable, non corrosive ammo. Why would you want to buy the old stuff?

Must be the "scarce" label that gives the added value:confused:

If you can find 196 gr SP bullets for $28/100, you should buy up as many as you can and at least double your outlay, selling them on CGN EE.

$45-$60 seems to be the going rate for projectiles on any site in Canada right now and that doesn't include tax or shipping.

Lots of people, most shooters don't hand load and have no desire to. They're quite willing to pay what we describe as exorbitant prices for ammo.

That was $28 for 50 196gr 8mm projectiles. If they don't reload, guess they won't be shooting much as time goes by.

Cheers and as they always say, buy it cheap and stack it deep.
