Previously, I was quite happy to see my Norinco JW-15A "compact" feed & eject perfectly with (the blue) .22LR dummy rounds in both the factory 5-round magazine and a polymer CZ 10-round magazine. However, I was rather saddened to find utter failures-to-feed with a (rather expensive!) CZ 25-round magazine...

Fast-forward to this past weekend, when I finally got around to loading live ammunition ammunition into each of the magazines (I wasn't shooting for accuracy, so no target pics, sadly). Anyhow, with real ammunition, the firearm fed & ejected smoothly from the 25-round magazine! The moral of the story is that dummy-rounds aren't the be-all-and-end-all of function testing (I know, I should have known).

So, that bit of relief established, here are some gratuitous pictures...

Quality control can be an issue and I think they held a contest to see who could come up with the worst wood ,and gave the winner the contract for the gun stocks ,but apart from that I have found them fine, accurate and reliable shooters. The synthetic stocks may not be the best, but they're better than the wood stocks
