Owner of Tasco 6-24 mildot scope with front parallax.
What a PITA to adjust! It's fine on the bench when shooting at the same distance all the time, but if you have to adjust, the dial tube is way too far even for my long hands.

Anyone else had the same experience?

I have had indirect experance with the same scope. it belonged to a friend and he complained of the same problem, but he has now returned it because the power ring striped and he couldn't change powers.

I have a similar scope (Bushnell D&D 6-18x50).
It's perfectly fine on the range but haven't used it for hunting yet.
I think all scopes with front parallax adjustment are slow on the field when you have to change distances in a hurry. :(
Side adjustment scopes are more expensive and harder to find but I'm sure they are faster.

The other problem with them is that the marked range increments are often not correct to parallax zero for the indicated range. One fix is to make new range numbers with a Dyno labeler an stick them on at the correct spot. That makes it much quicker to adjust for a known range without having to move your head around to confirm.
