I would like to try reloading .45 ACP instead of buying them in bulk.

well they are probably worth it if you run a large volume business, but I don't see why it would be interesting for an individual, even if you are rich enough to not bother about the cost.
 
I too like my Lee Pro presses, but if you get one, watch lots of videos to make it run "better" and you will be able to slam out a few hundred rounds per hour if you stay focused. I have 4 of these presses, each one set up and ready to go on its own caliber so my setup time is less than 5 minutes per caliber!

A few things maybe not mentioned yet is this, you will need a good digital scale, and a kinetic bullet puller. Other little tools here and there as you start loading more and finding things to make the job easier.
 
Of all the calibers I load (20+) 45ACP gave me the most grief. I had problems getting the mouth right so the case would feed in a Star pistol with a tight chamber.

I eventually got the dies set perfectly and I LokTited them in place (a Dillon tool head) so they would stay put.

later I started to have similar problems caused by one brand of 9mm empties i was picking up on the range. That lead me to the Lee factory crimp die. It also uniforms the completed rounds and I have sine installed it on all my pistol calibers. It corrects many anomalies.

If you start loading, I suggest the Lee or RCBS Carbide sizer and the Lee factory crimp die.
