Fell across this website recently for .22 conversion for 455 Webleys from a company, purportedly, in Kingston ON.

https://www.iccrimfire.com/

A search of CGN shows zip.

Everything looks great except; google earth shows the address as an empty lot, no telephone number shown and no response to multiple emails.

Anyone have any knowledge of or successful contact with Imperial Custom Conversions?

If this product does exist, it would certainly make using a Webley much more viable.

Since they list a physical address maybe someone around Kingston can do a drive-by (not literally ;)) and see if they actually exist. They also say "Get a quote from us to access exclusive bulk pricing". Ask for one and see what their reply is.

I tried to get a hold of them a couple of years ago... didn't hear anything from them. Just checked their address on Google Maps.

They are probably real, someone clued in how to get a business license and therefore be able to still buy handguns ;)

Just a reminder not to try a kit like this on antiques like the mk1** or mkII* or the antique mkIII as this kit will turn them into unregistered prohibited

I think you meant literally drive by? (i.e. drive and look) As opposed to figuratively (the shooting kind)?

Reminder noted and I do have an antique Webley but this would be for a Mk VI. .455 is getting pretty pricey.

October 2019 I was offered to Mk VIs both with .22 conversion kits. One a single shot and the other using a replacement cylinder so 6 shot. Total $ for both was 500. At the time I thought “what will I do with another Webley and why .22?”. Maybe not the best decision. lol.

455 is a very cheap round to reload for. The price of a box of factory rounds is crazy. Damn pasted up the conversations. Know how you feel. I missed a S/W K22 because I thought about for about an hour, sold a few minutes after he offered it to me. A little late calling him back. As a consolation a month later I did pick up a Colt 22 officers model without any hesitation.
