ID odd 303 Round

Came upon this lone 303 round, & could not nail down it's identity. Collector charts I've seen do not show a plain lead bullet round with this headstamp. Quite sure it is not a reload. Your thoughts.

I would really like to see the box it came from. From the date IF it is original and it appears it is I have a suspicion but really don't want to post without knowing more.

Appears made by Dominion Arsenal so is Canadian but the lead bullet is puzzling.
 
Canadian Gallery Practice MkII. Reloaded at Dominion Arsenal useing a MkVII Ball case. Original hs cancelled by the ring stamp.
 
Gallery/training round. Still find them at gunshows from time to time, the headstamp is more interesting than the loading.
 
Get a copy of Tony Edwards book on the .303 rounds and you will have all the info you will ever need on .303's.

They never came in a box, They were wrapped in a brown paper then tied with string. I have some in the wrap. I'll see if I can take a pict of the wrap.
