ID of Mauser

Have a beat up Mauser and on the top of the receiver is a Fancy letter C, with what looks to be a fancy anchor.

Any idea of th origin?

Not a lot to go on but..........

If both the fancy anchor and the fancy "C" have an elongated tall diamond shape imbedded in each of them and the anchor is the front figure overlaying the "C", plus there's a smaller figure to the top right of both figures that looks like an "O" with a dot under it, then ...............

It's the trademark of Ludwig Lowe and Company (Germany)
