Idea for a Black & Green Rifle Forum Group Buy?

Not trying to step on any toes here, just bouncing the idea off you guys to see if there would be any interest and/or what direction we might possibly go in with respect to a group buy for some type of electronic hearing protection, i.e., Peltors, etc...

We have several board sponsors who are dealers/distributors for well known electronic hearing protectors/muffs/defenders...whatever you want to call them. I thought it might make for a worthwhile idea for a group buy, thus helping out us GunNutz and throwing some extra support toward our sponsoring dealers?

Of course, before any group buy could go ahead, we'd have to get the okay from Greentips and associated Mods. This isn't a Group Buy thread, just a discussion! What do you guys think?

This idea of a group buy was brought to my attention as I was setting up the Eagle pack Group buy.

We don't want to have multiple group buys running all at once, so it was a no go for now.

When the Eagle Pack group buy closes & is done, I will look at getting clearance & putting together a group buy for Electronic "Muffs".

I don't want to derail this, but if you wear electronic muffs and earplugs underneath, wouldn't it be just as easy to wear great muffs and electronic earplugs underneath? That way you could wear just the earplugs when hunting or such, and you'd have super-hearing.

Hadn't heard of these.. neat. I'd never give up my Peltors though. They may be a bit big in order to cover the whole ear, but they're simply awesome.

Anyways a group buy on some electronic ear muffs would be great. Perhaps someone can set it up with JR then put it on the back burner till the Eagle buy is done?
