Ideal mold #357466 162gr or 158gr?

Hi all,

I recently purchased ideal mold #357466 a 162 grain SWC by Keith Thompson? I found loads listed for it in the lyman manual but only in the 38 special, not the 357 mag. I wanted to use this mold for my Ruger GP-100 and my marlin 1894C levergun can anyone give me a load with 2400, H110, BlueDot, Red Dot?

I found a article written by Skeeter Skelton about he 357 mag and he has the lyman #357466 as a 158 grain not the 162 I have if that is what it is? Is this the same mold?

As I understand it, Elmer Keith had three primary bullets for the .38 SPL & .357 Mag., #'s 358429, 358431 & 358439. The same basic bullet but one was a plain base, one a hollow point and the other a hollow base. I believe the main bullet Ray Thompson developed and developed loading info for was the 358156.
The variation in weight may be the result of the particular metal mix. In a 1st edition of the Lyman Handbook of Cast Bullets that I have, there are moderate and heavy loads listed for the 357446, and the weight shown is 160grs.
