I have been stocking up on powder and primers for the last 9-10 months, I'm almost done doing so as I am reaching my goal.
In good healthy amounts, as I remember what Obama did to me as a reloader back a few years ago, a friendly reminder to anyone who didn't think of this for the USA 2020 elections!
Now is the time to buy, no is the time to stock, if we have a democrat going in good luck finding powder/primers/ammo.

Anyways all this to say, some of my stock will last up to 5-6 years before seeing any use.

Right now i'm keeping the room tempered at 19.5 degrees celcius with a room humidity of 40%.
Anyone think I should change these values to do better?
Guns are also stored in this room, nothing with wood at all, more of a metal/polymer type of guy.

It’s all I found online
Was aiming for specific parameters if it meant that powder would live a few years longer.
It’s the only reason why I stopped buying some, scared of it going bad.

And BTW my powder cabinet has a certain smell to it now that it’s fully stocked,
I presume this is the norm?

Ganderite would be a good resource for these type of questions.

I seem to remember he had some OLD powders and I dont think he did anything too fancy to look after them.

Store powder sealed in your basement. Store primers in a dry environment. Most areas in your house will be fine. Maybe avoid the kitchen and the bathrooms.
