Identification of Tripod Section? Any info appreciated...

Can anyone identify the tripod section shown in the pictures which appears to be
a tripod extension for anti aircraft use. It has a typical socket for mounting an MG at the top end.

Does anyone know:

1) What army was this item originally made for ?

2) What tripod was this item designed for ?

3) What gun would this extension originally accept

Any info would be appreciated....

Of course! Frank from Marstar let me know that it's for the ZB-37. Thankfully Frank offered that info to me for free, as opposed to member "wheaty" who offered to charge me $20 for any information
