A friend and I were talking about Swede AG42 rifles and he mentioned one rifle in the 7th Edition of Military Small ARms of the 20th Century page 278.
Is it the Danish model that didn't get adopted?
It must have been an experimental firearm.

Has anyone ever laid eyes on one of them?

I just looked up the entry in my 5th edition.
It does mention a Danish version, made by Madsen.
It says that Madsen was not able to get the Danish Army to adopt it, so no further production.

The Swedish AG42 is fairly common, and the Egyptian version, the Hakim is occasionally found on the EE
