Identify LC Smith Double

Got a nice LC Smith 12 gauge side by side, very good shape. Can anyone on here date it by serial number even ball park? I think its pre 1945 owing to lack of Marlin code letters on it. Notice a 42 on the bottom of each barrel along with Armor Steel stamped on barrels. Any help would be appreciated. I think its just a field grade gun but very good quality.

Hey, Thanks a lot. Older than I thought. Looks like 1910. Condition looks even better for that vintage.
