I'm just wondering if anyone can help me identify this holster, as well as how exactly it's supposed to be worn. I picked it up earlier and was told that it's a ppk shoulder holster, however I've thus far been unable to find any images of a ppk shoulder holster that looks like this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I think it's probably Eastern European/Combloc but what do I know.

Additionally the only markings I've seen so far are written in red marker saying CCP/36.

Thanks in advance!

West German Police Surplus about 1980. Lever arms brought in several styles.
You can tell them from the goofy brown color and supple thin leather used. The PPK flops
around a lot in the holster and the elastic is crappy too. The one I had was slightly different
from the one you are showing but I think each police division (mine was marked Westphalia)
had their own. James Bond would have turned up his nose to them.

Bond would have definitely turned up his nose at these that's for sure. I "think" I've more or less figured out how it's supposed to be worn, and I can say that it's not very comfortable. I'll just add it to the box of other miscellaneous surplus things I've pick out over the last few years.....

That is certainly some interesting history for them, and certainly something worth looking into a little deeper.
