Identifying a SxS shotgun

One of my buddies has a SxS shotgun he inherited, but can't find much information about it via google. So I chimed in one day that CGN would be a great place to start to find any info on it.

SxS 12g [that's what the 18.3/18.2 means in millimeters], Liége proofs - intertwined EL - Épreuve Liége. Low to moderate quality 'cooking' gun, a nice solid uninspiring working gun sold by the gazillion.

Take it out and use it.

It is a Belgian made store brand gun for Alcock Laight & westwood Co of Toronto. Show us the proof marks on the barrel flats and we might be able to narrow down a year. Value is not high.
