IDF is selling confiscated weapons

There is a government with its head screwed on correctly. The past history of the items don't matter.

Too bad the gov't here hates money and thinks that any gun it confiscates or acquires must be destroyed. Guns don't have memories!
 
I would think that most of these firearms are full-auto. Which other countries can import them to sell? The US doesn't import firearms for sale to their citizens, maybe Czech Republic? Can't think of any others.
 
this is NOTHING new- there was a containerful shipped into canada in the 90's - where do you think all the c/a uzis and m14s( the real deal) came from- there were aks in that box as well as some chec 52 rifles, stens, galils, and my memory fails as to what else- it was a mixed bag of confiscated and surplus weapons- and they were blocked by means or a grind in the m14 or a different style change lever in the uzi so you couldn't go f/a- but that was a different time

one guy suggested they be melted down into plougshares!

great idea, because Israel is surrounded by friendly neighbours, their citizens are never in danger
