Does anyone know how I can complete this. On the website it said that affiliated clubs can do this, but do they do them at regular intervals or on an 'as needed' basis.

Who can I contact to do one?

Actually, I just found some info online and the contacts for the affiliated clubs.

But it seems there are only 4 clubs affiliated in Ontario, is this true? Not that I mind too much, but the drive to the closest one is around 2 hours one way.

IDPA in Southwest Ontario is very much alive and well. Affiliated Clubs west of London ON
Windsor Action Pistol - Windsor
Lambton Sportsman Club - Sarnia
Kingsville Shooting Sports - Kingsville
Kent Cloverleaf Conservation Club - Chatham - as soon as Greg gets moving and registers us.
Rondeau Rod and Gun Club - Blenheim - as soon as I can get the range re-certified.

onagoth, contact steve david, he is the IDPA god for ontario, there are a lot of IDPA safety officers around and they may travel to your location or let you know where and when you can shoot a classifier.

words to the wise, the for 2 stages of fire are the easy ones.... practice your walking forward and shooting one because people are usually a little stuutter stepped doing it, surprisingly the backwards portion is way easier....

the 3rd stage at the 20 yd line is what makes or breaks your classification, take your time and make your shots count.

there is a person here in Windsor that will do them by appointment on Fridays.. if you PM me I'll forward to you her info if you are interested
