It's closer than you think!! I now live in the 'wack, and I can be downtown for a Whitecaps game in 70 minutes!!
I feel ya though for the midweek evening practise
An experienced IDPA participant is offering a newbie orientation session at Chilliwack if you want to get some pointers and try it on for size. They are one day sessions offered on weekends. I think the May 7th session is already full, but you can PM me for details if you want.
Attended the intro to IDPA course in Chilliwack today, excellent course, very informative, Robert and his assistants were very professional, and made everyone very comfortable with the entire experience. If you have been thinking of trying IDPA, but are intimidated by the thought of not having a clue ( like I was, lol) I would highly recommend taking this course, I honestly feel capable of shooting an event and understanding what is going on around me now.An experienced IDPA participant is offering a newbie orientation session at Chilliwack if you want to get some pointers and try it on for size. Great course, great teachers, excellent class, and a full day of training for $40 ( $30 if you are a member of CFGC) is a steal of a deal, and as a bonus, there was a very nice mix of handguns to admire and bs about![]()
