Hi all,

Nice weather means we shoot Mondays at Orono starting today. You must be a member of IDPA to shoot but do not have to be a member at Orono. The cost is $5 per night. We start set up around 5. All are welcome to join!

My new rear sight! Having fiber in the rear is too confusing. Had a Heinie rear for a G34 kicking around so I installed it leaving the fiber in the front. Going to see if it works out tonight.

Being happy with my new sight combo would be an understatement!!!! Didn't even have to adjust them at all. I blacked out the rear Heinie dot and target acquisition/accuracy is the fastest/most accurate I have ever had on my G34.

The clays at Orono are in big trouble!

Newbie to the range here. Just signed up at Orono gun club. What's the IDPA? I know I could likely google it - but I figured I'd chat with some Orono gun club members

IDPA is International Defensive Pistol Association. We shoot every Monday night weather permitting. You should come out and have a look see and if you are interested we can get you set up.

Good idea for a side match as well - maybe after the main match is done at provincials??
