IDPA New Shooter orientation course Ponoka AB Spring 2013

I am thinking of organzing a IDPA New Shooter Orientation course at Ponoka AB in the spring 2013 probably in May.

Still have not got the details worked out on an IDPA new shooter orientation course. But I have good news on IDPA shoots. 25 & 26 May and 28 & 29 sept at Ponoka. The Saturday will be a IDPA pistol match. After the match we can do a classifer. On Sunday will be a IDPA 3 gun match. Sorry I could not get any dates for the summer months. Hopefully in the next few weeks I will get details up on the Ponoka Fish and Game website.

Talked to Candice and Lindsay and they are willing to teach a new shooters course in June at Ponoka. I am going to the club meeting next week to confirm dates. We will probably run it over two Tuesday nights. First night would be the classroom work. The second night is the range time. We might add a third night if someone wants to shoot a classifier.

Get ahold of the ATHL - I believe they hold matches at the APRA homestead range as well as some matches with the Drumheller club.

I got approval this week at the monthly club meeting to run a New Shooter course at Ponoka on June 4 & 11. The first tuesday night will be the classroom work. the second tuesday will be the range time. Still working out some details. Then I will post the infor on the clubs website.
