IDPA Postal Match Peace River, Ab

Hey you albertans....

I want to see some of you goto terrace and shoot in the BC provincials eh.... take the time and go down to terrace and get some of the best world class fishing in and shoot the match too..... salmon BBQ after the shoot provided :)

and hook, don't putup with any crap from those two, as I say all you have to do is trip and fall and you could wipe them off the face of the planet. Stevo is just one step away from being captain mullet himself, if not in hairdo then in style ;)

Great time and it was nice to have you BC boys over. Hope to visit the FSJ club in the near future.

Once all the pics are compiled we will have more for your viewing pleasure on our club website.

Agreed, Byron makes it all that much more special when he goes postal with a revolver....B

Point taken Stevo, but Glocks are still ugly:p. However do you know if a G34 is legal for IDPA? If it fits in the box it should be. I sold my G21 so I'm Glockless right now. I do wish I could use my Tokarev tho.

Greg make sure to take a lot of digital image photos and post a few.

Also, would not hurt to send a post event story to local media.

Maybe a title like "Hand Gun Sports Growing In Canada." I've heard that sales of handguns in Alberta is very high since the Miller Mouth started promoting a ban Canada wide on handguns. Any statistics would be appreciated.

I am always trying on my own. Currently I am trying to make sure that our own organizations are aware but it seems that they do not even care to promote stuff sometimes.

Greg

I am with greg on this one, try and get the local news people out or even to put "event" announcements in the paper is like pulling teeth, sure they will advertise a swimmeet but try and get them to promote a gun event is hard.

p.s.

HI GREG :)

Our Organizations

Wes, you are absolutely right, however I am talking about our own pro firearms organizations. I won't say any names because last time at a firearms course I got my ass chewed after stating that the organization based in Ontario does not care about stuff that happens outside Ontario or Quebec.

I threw a softball out there to this certain organization about a recent event here and gave all the pertinent info on how to get a hold of the person to interview and voila-absolutely nothing. I thought it would be an easy and good article they could write and lead them in the right direction, I guess I just have to write it for them.

I also emailed one of their representatives from a neighbouring province who was the one who was offended about my comments to find out who the Alberta representative was but as of yet which has been over a week, no response. I wanted to let him/her know what was going on in the area and give out an invite but I guess maybe next year.

I will get off my soapbox since this in not the correct forum, but I am trying. Believe me I am trying.

Greg
