North Peace Rod and Gun club is proud to announce we will be holding an IDPA Safety Course in the Fort St John Area.
Course Date will be August 23 and 24, Pre Registration is a must and the course cost will be $100 per student Maximum.
The course will consist of IDPA Rules and Regulations as well as Range Safety and shooter safety while shooting the course of fire.
The first day will be 100% classroom with perhaps a little bit of practice shooting at the end of the day, the second day will be writing of the exam and then the practical experience of SO'ing other students and local members during the classification course of fire.
lunch will be provided saturday, it will be a BBQ. Sunday shooters are urged to bring thier own as it could be a long day of shooting and SO'ing.
The instructor for this course is Greg Bernetic from the Peace River Fish and Game Club.
Course will be held at North Peace Rod and Gun Club Located in Fort St John B.C. and members from all over are encouraged to attend. We hope to have a good turnout from our sister club in Dawson Creek.

Also please let me know your IDPA number as well, although you do not have to be an IDPA member at the time of the course, but it is encouraged to become one ASAP upon completion or even better before the course date.
Equipment Required will be a Pistol that meets IDPA rules and Requirments, 3x Magazines, a belt holster and a double mag pouch. Minimum round count will be 90 rounds to shoot the qualifier but I urge you to bring 150 minimum in case of a stage malfuction or equipment malfunction. Also I cannot stress enough how more magazines is helpful, bring all you can.
