Surprised there isn't more info on here about Alberta Tactical Handgun League myathl.com . They seem quite active and hold several matches every year. Think I may give it a try for 2016.

Sign up in advance. No sign up on the day of due to high turnouts in excess of what can be handle efficiently. I would recommend just showing up ready to shoot after signing up. People can come and watch but really I'd recommend being signed up to shoot. You can watch plenty before your turn at your first stage.
