If anyone has the coin for a G-36 project..

There have been a raft of these for sale recently, pretty sure TNA had a bunch and there was at least one other business who were selling some on here (for a pretty darned good price too from memory).

Correct... they seem to be everywhere right now! Too bad - I had been thinking about selling mine, so bad timing for me ;)

I'm in the same position and have now got my eye on another shiny thing.

The SL8 is a well made rifle and may even slip under the ban hammer with its stealthy "I'm not really tactical" look but it is front heavy and the height over bore is pretty extreme.
 
I had a SL8 "modify" in G36. Handguard, Folding stock adapter and stock, flash hider, Magwell for AR , etc... I have love so much this gun until I got a AR-15. It was accurate. Reliable. Beautyful. But so heavy!!!!! And the trigger was not terrible.

It have cost to me around 2000$ to modify it. I'm not sure if I will have the will to redone a other one.
