In today's climate, what's a complete AR parts kit (minus receivers of course) going for? It's a 20" Armalite Heavy barrel with maybe 500 (at the top end) rounds through it, essentially newish condition. Also, what about an Elcan C79 black cover? Looking to sell it as a whole rather than as individual parts.

thanks.

worth is a subjective thing.
It is worth what they retail for, minus a percentage for being used - on an open market.
The LIEbral government is the sole destroyer of that open market, so you're left with cents on the dollar.

You're best bet aside from taking it up the a$s by selling parts nearly nobody wants in my view is doing one of three things:
a) Wait for a sane government to overturn the libs OIC so we can go back to enjoying our property (however unlikely that is to happen),
b) Wait for a reasonable buy-out from the government (however unlikely it is that they will act reasonably),
c) repurpose the parts into a straight pull rifle less the stripped receivers.

Parts are still selling, don't kid yourself.
List them for what you think they are worth, if they sit around someone will probably throw an offer out. Then you can decide whats the lowest you will take.

Right now? Maybe 70% of pre-ban retail. After October I wouldn't even consider more than 50% pre-ban prices for most of it unless you can reuse it in a straight pull cope gun, but I'm just some anonymous dude on the internet.

Barrel 200$ to 250$
BCG 150$
Lower parts kit 100$
Grip, Foregrip and handguard 125$
Whatever is left over ( pins, springs, gas tube) 100$

These are "sell" prices on CGN , not what I would pay

Lots of people have Maccabee, ATRS, or Sterling receiver sets they haven't assembled into anything yet - if you sell ALL of the parts one of those people needs as a package, I suspect you'd get around a grand for it all.

That's really my question, what do people think is a reasonable price these days.

I literally bought a 308 barrel with gas block and tube for $300 shipped a few days ago. I thought that was decent, alot of parts can't be brought into the country any more so will eventually be hard to find

That is an important fact to keep in mind.
