Glock 17 for me!! I own an Glock(17&22) and Sig P226. Used to own M&P9, bought it to see what's all the hype around it, nice gun almost like the Glock but for ME I prefer the Glock grip so I sold it because I didn't' like the trigger and didn't want to spend 100$+ to buy the Apex trigger kit. But the M&P9 Range and Carry kit its a great deal! Sig high quality firearm, mag are expensive and long double action. Glock cheap part and availability(OEM or mod), cheap mag.

We carry M&P .40's. I like them better than the glocks and the sig's are just ugly with a high bore axis.
I am going to stir the pot here and say, Sigs and Cz's are the worlds ugliest pistols.

I have shot all three. And like the glock the most, fits my hand perfect, very low profile, descent weight and hella aftermarket parts for fine tuning. Best price to. Most reliable pistol in the world.
The m&p feels really small but is a good shooter.
The sig is over priced if you ask me. But there very well balenced, real good trigger I thought but just didn't feel good in my hands. Very solid pistol.

Personal Recommendation
G22 and Conversion 9mm barrel will cost less then your SIG.
Having had all three at the same time I had perfect confidence in the Glock product. Is the SIG better? Possibly. In fit and finish, feel, gun as art... But it isn't more reliable or better as a gun for its intended purpose. Either way enjoy your gun travels and exploits.
