You're trapped on an internet forum and you can repeat only ONE guns/shooting/hunting cliche for the rest of your life. What do you choose?

To nobody in particular,

I chose tack driver because I can do the rest of the criteria mentioned. It would probably be a 300mag not the 30-06.

I can put the bullet in the kill zone, placement is everything, and they dont get any deader once dead.

I load my own bullets so it is the cheapest part of the trip (how many people use even half a box of shells on a trip anyways?), and the 300 mag shoots flat enough for my purposes. As long as its minute of bullwinkle, deer and grouse I am a happy hunter. I have not met any deer who have told me that they know the difference between being shot with a 270 or 30-06. However 10 out of 10 deer who were shot with the 300mag said it did the trick for them and said they quitte liked the Winchester Model 70. The grouse said they prefer a 12 or 20 gauge and I have to respect their decision.

Theres my answer to the "only one gun for hunting purposes cliche" poll.

Got Deer Sirloin, Swamp Donkey, or Ruffies?

Bullets are the cheapest part of a hunting trip
You can't get any deader than dead
These three poll options are true... but I could only pick one so I went with Bullets are the cheapest part of a hunting trip. It is used more often in my work right now....

I like premiums so for me its "bullet are the cheapest part of the hunting trip". The one I hate the most if from the anti-magnum guys "Natives have been killing grizzly and/or moose with a .22lr for ever so your whatever will be fine. You don't need a magnum but use enough gun!
