If you have a Dillon case feeder...

Just wanted to let folks know, I was looking for a small rifle case feed plate for my Dillon case feeder and stopped in at my semi-local gun store who happens to stock Hornady LNL AP's and there associated parts and pieces... I noticed the clutch and drive looked a lot like dillons so I hit google on my iPhone and found some chatter about it but nothing concrete... $33 later and a drive home and would you lookie thar... She fits like a glove...

I have both the Hornady and Dillon and yes the Hornady small rifle feed plate fit in the Dillon it did not work properly for me, the dimensions are different and it kept getting brass stuck under it, I had to buy the Dillon one to make it reliable... YMMV

Same thing happened with my Hornady feeder and SR plate. A few minutes with a #8 file to make the slots a tad wider (edge to edge) and presto,, no more binding.

Yes, Hornady did replace the plate FOC but it bound too. I now have 2 SR plates and its the file that got er done .
