I'm from the United States, so I'm not very familiar with the firearms laws in Canada. (I'm close though, Michigan) Are there any magazine capacity restrictions or bans in Canada or does it depend on the province? Most states in the US do not, there are no longer any federal laws against them for the moment either.

pinned to 5 rounds if centerfire semi auto all provinces (rifle/shotguns) 10 for pistols

But we have no SBR class up here.... All of our AR are restricted licensed range only toys..... So they are restricted regardless of barrel length.

It also depends on what the mag was designed for. So Beowulf mags pinned to 5 rnds go beo, hold like 15 ish rounds of 223.... So beo mags are like gold here.....

We also have no back ground checks as we have to have a license to purchase or own firearms, so I guess we actually do have background checks...... We just show our "per-approved" status card to buy. We also have to have the same license to purchase ammo.....

But I digress....

Well for some part I think we are more strict than US

Firearm act are federal law so no matter where you are. You are in the loop

And even after you got your license you have to renew (recheck ) every 5 years

So when you renew your license if they think you are no longer fit to own any firearms
(Job lost divorce etc)

then they will not renew it so you will have to give up all firearm you have

Or if you hit your wife and cop come or someone has concert about you been violent

CFO (firearm officer ) can seize all your firearm right away without court orders

You are wasting your time. Why would you want a neutered P-Mag when you can rock without limits in Michigan? I remember loading 30rds into an AK mag in a Detroit range and thinking, "wow you guys got it good over here". I can't own an AK47, 5 rounds limit, 10rds if you get a pistol mag in some instances. Forget it and don't look back.

Understatement of the century. They have freedom (most states anyway) and we have paperwork, BS limits, prohibs and overly strict rules. No American gun owner would ever want our gun control.
