IGA/Gaucha won't fire

My friend has a 20ga IGA/Gaucha single shot. He has issues, half the time it will not fire. We checked the primer after a misfire and there is only a small indentation on it. Sometimes it will fire 5-6 in a row then nothing for a while.

I do not know much about shotgun trigger mechanism, but to me it appear that the transfer bar is not timed correctly. When pulling the trigger the hammer goes foward then it feels like the transfer bar is coming up after.

Anybody had same experience or any fixes.

Brother in law had one that the firing pin was broke. Same issues. Fire 4 or 5 then very light primer strikes for the next two.

I just had an IGA SXS brought to me with the same problem from brand new. I unscrewed the firing pin bushings, cleaned the receiver in my ultrasonic cleaner, soaked the bushings and firing pins in brake fluid, then wiped clean, lubed the moving parts of the receiver and the extractor and reassembled. It works fine now. Something I discovered when looking for information on these guns is that the hinge pin is soft, and will wear quickly resulting in misfires, so eventually it will need to be shimmed.
