Anyone reload with Igman brass? I've found that the necks of these brasses opens more than other brands. The bullet will drop right in even if I use collet die for necksizing.

I've reloaded some 6.5 Swede Igman brass. Didn't have a problem with the neck sizing, but the brass is definately thicker. There's a noticable loss in case capacity.

Last night I was loading 7.62x54r and .303. Both were necksized with 303 necksize die. 7.62x54 looks fine, the bullets sat right in and fit the neck perfectly. But 303's neck was just too big. So I had to try the die at different depth, but nothing was improved. Any idea?

I have never been impressed by Lee dies.

What I do for 303 is use a RCBS 308 Win neck die and run the 303 brass in until you feel it just contact the shoulder. It gives a bit tighter grip on the bullet.
