I'll buy 1000 rounds of .17 fireball 20 gr!

nope, not after .17 rem now...just fireball...got lots of 6.8 spc from p&d though...cleaned them out...my next gun is going to be a spendy little booger, between it and a .17 fireball i really may have to take up reloading lol

p.s. i asked p&d to add 1000 rounds of fireball to their next order if they could as i'd take it...that was after buying their 500 rounds of spc ammo so hopefully they take me serious and get after it for me?...

good idea....i've got a little much on the go so a bit discouraged on some of these things hard to find....but i should really try and get on a list for the ammo....as once in hand THEN i'll buy the gun/scope etc.....but been down that road before....got gun but can't shoot until ammo comes round....sucks....doing it other way round now

funny...just got an email back from Dianne saying they'd try to find it but not to hold my breath....i told her to keep my on the list i'm not going to try it anywhere else...i'll take whatever she can find up to 1000 rounds and if we have to wait until market catches up then so be it....told her i'd check in every couple months to follow up on it too....they have great service imo

1,000 rounds? Geez man, learn to reload. A thousand factory loads at $25 a box is $1250. You could reload that many for well under $500 if you re-used your brass. And you could get better/more accurate ammo. And you could get it right now. And you wouldn't have to worry about future availability. Between that and the SPC, you could probably drop a GRAND into high-end reloading equipment and still come out ahead

hmmmmm, tempting, i'll wait for the 6.8 to show...see how i get on with it and then see if i want to impove it with reloads...if so then i'll reload for everything i got...will get...so i've got time...if i can find factory in the meantime then great

the 6.8 and fireball would be the only two guns and only two calibers i'd maybe need to reload for...everything else i have shoots plenty good with factory ammo....i'm strictly a hunter...the fireball ammo i'd never have to buy again as it'd be for a coyote calling rig....not gophers....and the 6.8 will go through a few figuring things out early but after sorted...if i'm happy with a factory ammo and its accuracy then i won't get into reloading...a couple hundred rounds last a long dang time for me once gun is ready to go
