The moose/bear/caribou gun season opens here on the Rock this coming Saturday. I went to the range and I have my trusty 1942 Lithgow .303 sighted in and ready to go. Did not want to take any chances, since I have a bear license. Anyone else have their .303's ready?

Planning on having my Long Branch No.4 restored for deer season.

I might or might not get an S&K mount for it after I see how she shoots with irons. I've gotten lazy by shooting scopes for so long.

Mine is. I found a commercial ammo that is not that bad, but I'm starting reloading for my 303 this week, hopefully I'll find a good load before October 31st (opening of deer season)

My 2 are always ready, but alas I tend to shoot all of the ammo off and never save any for next time. I'll have to hit the reloading press for an afternoon I guess.

great looking rifle there timberlord. i will let you all know if i am successful. my dad is coming with me too, and of course his rifle is a no1 mkIII. he bought it in the eatons catalogue for $16.
