I'm in awe of the amazing pool of talent here

It doesn't take long to see that this site as a collective is deep with knowledge and talent. We have idea people and inventors and builders second to none that I've ever seen. True talent.

With that being said, why hasn't one or more of the brilliant machinists around here ever come up with a sight pushing tool for semi-auto pistol slides? Or even copies of various manufacturers designs? I'm sure you guys could make a mint on here. I alone would pay for a Canadian made Glock and Sig rear sight pusher/adjuster.

Any other members here have some creative ideas for our metal magicians? Post'em here and lets see if we can't benefit from their abilities and make them some pocket money in the process. Win - wins all around!

I'm working with my neighbour who is a machinist to build a rear sight adjuster for my glock... will post pictures and stuff when it's done.

Brass punch and hammer works most times, but they break sights too. Especially front sights. Gets expensive and then you buy a sight pusher anyway.

I think you need to get out more dude, because it really doesn't seem to take much to get your "awe".

Go to your community college and take a night course or something.
