Hello,

I'm trying to find a Canadian sling as used on the early C7 rifles. I've attached a picture below. Notice it has plastic buckles and one end of the sling is sewn to a buckle.

If you know where I can find one of these to purchase, please let me know.

How early do you mean?

They all had Pattern 37 slings when I was in, but that was pushing 50 years ago. Plastic would have been laughed at; the only plastics available were crud like polystyrene, and that stuff was so frangible as to be useless for anything except model Fokkers.

FWIW, I am using a Pattern 37 on my 1944 Long Branch .22 and the rifle isn't complaining.
