Hello all. My first post is to introduce myself. I am in the Chapleau, Ontario area where I have lived almost all my life. My involvement with firearms includes hunting of course; moose, grouse, ducks; and black powder muzzle loader shooting. Our local gun club is currently closed pending a reinspection by the CFO, but I am a handgun instructor there. I don't have a lot of handgun experience and only recently acquired a 100 year old handgun as an inheritance. I look forward to participating in some of the forums even though I know that opinions on some matters vary wildly. Don't be too hard on me. :)
 
Hello and welcome. Don't worry about the occasionally strongly divergent opinions. There are plenty of us who'll be glad to help with any problems you may have. I collect odd handguns. I do very little shooting, but have enough of the things that one of the nice clerical people at CFC once said to me, "My, you do have a lot of guns, don't you." I suppose so, by Canadian standards, but my collection here is only about a third of what I had when I lived in the US. Good luck with the inspection.
