Was wondering if anyone here may be able to help me with an issue I'm having laying an SKS barrel into and ATI stock? Hoping someone has run into the same issue.
When I'm trying to lay the barrel into the stock, it keeps getting stuck/hung up somewhere and I cant figure out where. I can get either the front portion in or the back end of the reciever, never both. When I have the front end layed in properly, the back end of the reciever is sitting at least 3/4" high. You can push it down but it pops back up right away.
I realize it's hard to show with pictures but was hoping someone ran into this as well and knows what I'm getting at. I realzie that you may need to shave parts of the stock down but I'd rather not try random areas until I find it.
The stock in questions is ATI's "Strike Force" and the SKS was built in 1950 if that helps.
