I recently picked up a CZ 75b for a good price with the intention of doing my black badge and shooting some competitions, specifically 3 gun.
I have mags and a hogue grip on the way so now I'm looking at a holster.

I have used Fobus and Uncle Mikes kydex holster in the past and while they work I'm not sure about their retention ccapabilities for a run and gun course.

I looked a couple of reviews of the IWI and they seem decent enough, especially for $50, has anyone any experience with these for competition?

I like the finger placement for the release, always thought Blackhawks might have been a bit of a safety hazard with their placement, coupled with a fast draw.

Also what would be a good mag holster for my 4 spares.

How does the IWI finger release differ from the Serpa?

I bought a Hogue ARS Stage 1 retention holster (similar to 5.11 thumb drive) for my CZ from 4thGenTactical. Well made and it comes with both paddle and belt attachments.

A Bladetech with the "WRS" loop is well suited. I can't comment on this specific IWI model as I have not seen it in use, but I would wager that if you buy it you'll be buying again shortly. I would avoid trigger finger release holsters as they are not a safe design. The best are Bladetech thumb break and 5.11 thumb drive (I don't think they make for your CZ but not positive)
