Your Imperial marked hulls are made by Cheddite. You can reload them with Cheddite load data. The brass height makes no difference when reloading these hulls.
Who else remembers when Canadian Tire sold 20 round boxes of ammo under the Mastercraft Brand name(their own) and they were the see through low base blue cheddite hulls loaded by Challenger? Well Challenger is still doing the 20rd boxes even today in target loads. You can buy them in 200rd ct flats(10 boxes of 20). Had a guy at a shoot last summer that carries them at his store bring a bunch to a shoot. $75/flat of 200...folks were kind of excited about flats of target loads for $75 tax in until they realized they were 200rd flats not 250 so it worked out to $90+ for a 250 count. It was more expensive that way. We were buying 250rd flats of Challengers last year for $72 plus tax if we ordered by the pallet so a few of us did and split it.
I remember the CTC Mastercraft Supreme cartridges. Kind of a drab blue with terrible crimps and some copper coloured bases. I don't know how many southern Ontario Jack rabbits ( European hares) ran through pattern after pattern of #2 shot from those shells. I used up 6 shells on one wounded jack and snowshoed after him for a long way. Oh before you say it my dad and I were pretty good shots on running jacks in those days. Acquired some of the new (then ) Browning "55" Power 1 1/2 oz. #2's and the problem was solved.
