I came into a bunch of 303 Brit, there is some of the normal Imperial RN, R-P, Winchester, Military FMJ but the weird ones are some Imperial stamped yellow tipped ammo. The tip is short like a ballistic tip, not a painted tip but it looks to be factory ammo.

Anyone know what this might be?

I've got a box of 180 sabre tip .303 that was my dads, it's not really yellow. It more like its yellowing lol, he had some imperial 30-30 that was a mix of yellow and blue polymer round nose tips. Different bullet weight between the colors from what I gathered, shot well enough. I didn't have a 30-30 so I gave it to a buddy, we shot a bunch of it at the range on day.

Yes definitely yellow. Imperial 30-30 Sabre Tip's shot my first deer with those with a Savage 170 pump !
Was 13 years old Dad said he only heard 2 shots but I only missed once and hit that little buck 3 times !
Don't think he needed all of them ,can't say for sure but I might have been a wee bit excited .
Still have a couple saved from the first boxes Dad bought me .
37 years goes fast.
Nice memory !
Thanks !

Like I said , Yellow tip :)
