Imperial dry neck lube is finely ground graphite which is nothing more than finely ground carbon. Most cleaning methods will remove the carbon inside the case neck.

Graphite is a naturally occurring form of crystalline carbon.
When the expander passes through the case neck it smears a new layer of carbon inside the neck. This aids bullet seating and helps prevent the bullet from bonding inside the case neck over time. Meaning there is a protective layer of carbon between the brass case neck and the copper bullet.
Wet tumbling with stainless media, sonic cleaning, and vibratory tumbling will remove the carbon inside the case neck.
Bottom line, leave the Imperial dry neck lube inside your case necks.
