Hi Guys!

Im new to the forum, I have been searching for a similar situation to the one I am in, without any luck.

I do not currently have my CFSC/FAC at all. I am looking to bring in the above rifle from IMA in the states.

Since I am not licenced at all, and assuming I can get one manufactured BEFORE 1898, should I be able to ship it to my address without having to jump through any major hoops?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I ordered one from IMA 2 or 3 months ago & it arrived in Burlington on my doorstep about 5 days later. The only annoying thing was having to pay the HST plus $10 collection fee (UPS I think). Very fast & no
other papers to apply for or anything.

Ordered a tonne of those antique rifles from IMA. No problem as they are 'antiques'. I usually bought their 'untouched' rifles and cleaned them up as project. Even sold some overseas with no problem. IMA generally places a note in the box labeling them as antiques. Have them send it via post via UPS or you get charged heavy brokerage charges (which is bogus, as no borkerage or duty has to paid on antiques).
 
They also have a Black Friday sale. If you phone, ask for their 10% discount, they had Martini's listed on the sale and a $10,000+ Blunderbuss.
 
IMA do a news letter every 2 weeks (Fridays) with weekend specials. When I ordered my Mk.IV it was a cleaned & complete for $500, nice deal. About 18 months ago I got a Pattern 1887 bayonet (for the Mk.IV) & several other items over the months.
