Import markings on sks

They've been on every SKS imported in the last while, nothing special about it. It just says the rifle's name, the caliber, the companies involved in the export, and when it was stamped.
 
I have 2 sks with those as well as a m38 91/30 and m44 with those how is the barrel condition? I find most of the russian import marked ones not the best bores compared to my other rifles where there is no markings on the barrels under the handguards

I have 4 (2x50, 1x53, 1x56), bores are great once cleaned up. Early rifles with non-chromed bore will show more wear as they have had more use, and will have more gunk to clean out. Chromed will not wear much, and the later rifles will not have seen as much use either. That will be what determines bore and overall condition more then anything.

the 1 in the pic is a 1949!!!!!
the barrel is rough--you should have seen the rust come out of it!!
it is cleaning up though--the rifling is strong but the spaces between the rifling(lands??) are dirty.
the rest of the sks is almost mint and all matching except for the mag and stock(stock was heavily sanded)
i do have other pics--whoever buys 1 of these new russian imports CHECK THE BARREL!!
the import marks are on the right side of receiver,Under bolt and Under gas tube on barrel...

Our LeBaron shop here in Ottawa advertises their SKS as being 'refurbished to excellent' condition. I would prefer one from the Izhevsk factory (1954) for sentimental reasons, but the Tula models are the more recent ones (laminated stocks) and one would expect would be in better condition. Certainly those claimed to be 'unissued'. I'll be interested to see what I find, as I intend to get one.
 
from what I understand a private company in russia bought a #### ton of SKS's and refurbished them. I have one of these sks's. when comparing it to the my factory sks you can tell the detail that this company went into to referb these rifles.

My last purchased sks has these same molot marks. It originated in Russia and is a heavy triple refurb with the bbq paint finish and black bolt. It was shipped to a volume buyer company in Germany in the last yr or two and then to the Canadian importer. Im told that getting the sks directly from Russia is quite hard and risky to do now and when the German stockpile dries up..prices will go up more. And as we know, none are coming out of the Ukraine for obvious reasons.
