Import semi auto in disassembled form?

Does anyone have any experience importing a handgun in kit form? Anything to look out for?

Frame is still considered a firearm, so all export/import and registration laws will apply.

Must be registered as part of the Canadian importation procedure.
From where? If the US, their export controls apply.

Thanks for the info. Yes the pistol is in the US of A, a parts gun included with an auction.

I did a little more checking with irunguns and apparently it lacks an FRT so it looks unlikely i will try.

For pistols it's not hard to get frt added..
