Important Question about Poly M14

Hi people, i just received my new Poly M14 today, first of all ive been 7 years in canadian infantry so im not new to guns, btu ive heard tons of stories about the headspacing of that gun.

My question is can i shoot that rifle out of the box and not blow my face , or i ABSOLUTELY must get that headspacing checked thanks!!!
 
From what ive researched and read on this site concerning this issue , it was apparently mostly an issue with the 2006.07 issue rifles . I have a new Norinco m14s and the bolt closes perfectly snug on .308 cartridge and ejection and extraction is perfect .
