Thought it a worthwhile notice to share if it hasn't been already

Many F class shooter remove the ejector and take the case out of the action manually so this could happen to a broader range of guns.

BUT the key is that NOTHING touches the bolt anywhere through its cycling journey. If the notch in the comb was made larger, the bolt/cocking piece - whatever - would not have disengaged and allowed the firing pin to go forward.

Almost invariably, the firing pin of a bolt action rifle cannot protrude from the breechface unless the bolt sleeve is rotated so that the cocking piece can move forward.
The bolt sleeve would have to snap over to get the firing pin to protrude. For this to happen without the bolt being rotated to lock, a pretty good twist generally has to be applied to the bolt sleeve. And then the round would have to hang up enough to hold it in place for the firing pin to indent the primer.
Freak accidents do happen, and a shooter should be aware that if the bolt sleeve rotates to the uncocked position the firing pin will be projecting.
