Hi
I would like to import from the states a Remington Hepburn action kit and was wondering if it needs the same paper work as bringing a gun across the border or if it is like importing gun parts.

Thanks
Jeff

I would expect that it is just like importing a modern gun which under Canadian law it is. the frame would have to be manufactured prior to 1898 to be exempt as an antique.

No, it doesn't need any paper work if it needs any machine work to make it function, It's the same as 80% ar-15 recievers. You have to register it when it is finished and ready to be fired, you will also have to have it verified when done.
