Importing a pistol from Germany?

Nobody, just do it. It's not hard at all.

Ask the seller if he/she needs something from you. If nothing, just fax them registration papers and they can mail it to you.

If they need some paperwork from you, just get them paperwork. For example, International Import Certificate is free for individuals and you can get them just with internet application. Companies have to pay for it (read as you will pay) + they will charge you something for filling it up that application + whatever they want to charge extra. Why the hell do you want to do that?

PS. I imported about 12 handguns including from US and never paid more than $30 in fees for that.

Thanks for the information. I think I'll give it a try without third party involvement. I'm all for saving money. ;)
 
The shipping from Europe is going to be very expensive since a special secure cargo shipment is required but not needed ... . My suggestion is to find out the shipment costs before committing because you might have a very unpleasant surprise if unprepared ... good luck!
