Importing a shotgun from US

HI Guys!
Just joined the forum after it was recommended by one of the salesman in local BassPro shop.
That salesman mentioned there is an explicit explanation in this site on how to import guns and ammo from the States, what forms should be used, so on and so forth.
I am struggling to find the forms and the explanation of the procedure.
Can anyone help please?

Try the Prophet River banner up top, should explain some of the process. The "reader's digest" version is that you need the export permit, and a FFL holder in the US. PH can provide that. I've done a rifle and a pistol. It's about 2 months and very easy. The cost is about $250 plus taxes. I suppose you could complete the forms and submit it yourself, however I'm not sure unless your doing "volume" that it would be worth it?. Just my $.02

If you live in southern ontario buffalo guns in buffalo can do this for you. Gun needs to be worth it though because it may cost you $200 bucks.
